Sachio Nang is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, music director, arranger, and producer out of Chicago, Illinois. An avid pit musician, Sachio is also a touring musician who has traveled the country playing music professionally, most recently as the music director for The Phil Collins Story, a docu-concert tribute act celebrating the music of Phil Collins. His Broadway national tour credits include being the Associate Music Director on Elf (2022), Shrek (2024), as well as holding down the bass chair for the 2nd National Tour of Ain’t Too Proud (2024). Proficient in Jazz, Rock, Pop, Latin, Gospel, Folk, and constantly diving deep into new genres, Sachio loves learning about different styles of music, where they come from, how they evolve, and what makes them unique.

An active composer/arranger/orchestrator, Sachio has done work for groups across the US, including (but not limited to) big band arranging, orchestral transcriptions, piano/vocal transcriptions, pop charts, and everything in between! Wielding his remarkable relative pitch (sometimes mistaken as perfect pitch), Sachio is known for his transcription work, yielding lightning fast transcription times with superb quality.
